Judy McMahan, age 68 of Murfreesboro died Monday August 3, 2015. She was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her parents, William Everett Porterfield and Minnie Armstrong Porterfield. Mrs. McMahan was a member of New Hope Church of Christ, and had been a Beautician. She also worked for Whirlpool and before retirement she briefly worked Retail Sales in Murfreesboro. Mrs. McMahan is survived by her husband of 43years, Mitchell Lynn McMahan; children, Keith McMahan, Leslie Petty and husband Matt; grandchildren, Kayla and Dawson Petty, Taylor and Jordan McMahan; great-grandchild, Ashton McKinney all of Murfreesboro; sisters, Barbara Williford and husband Monte of Georgia, Sue Moore and husband Walter of Murfreesboro, Pam Alexander and husband Glenn of Murfreesboro, Linda Jones of Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Ralph Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
