Judy Fay McCoy Morton, age 63 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday December 2, 2014. She was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of, Mattie McCoy Carrigan, and was preceded in death by her father, James Andrew McCoy; brother, Bobby McCoy; aunt, Louise Parton and uncle Wiley Parton. Mrs. Morton was of the Pentecostal Faith and retired from Middle Tennessee Dairy Service. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James "Butch" Morton; children, James "Butchie" Morton, Jr and wife Kelley, Jason Morton and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Alexa, and Connor; sisters, Shirley Roth and husband Bill, Peggy McCoy, Sherry Carrigan and James, brothers, Ronnie Carrigan, Jeff McCoy, Jackie Carrigan and several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel; Derrick Hartly will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
