Mrs. Judy C. McClaran, age 77, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late John Woodrow and Catherine Virginia Carlton Sliger. Mrs. McClaran was a 1958 honors graduate of Chattanooga Central High School. She was a paralegal for the State of Tennessee Funeral Board and most recently Blankenship & Blankenship. Mrs. McClaran faithfully attended St. Mark's United Methodist Church where she was in the choir.

Mrs. McClaran is survived by her siblings, Woody Sliger of Chattanooga, Susan Sliger of Lexington, KY, and Bettye McCartney and her husband Mike of N. Canton, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and her St. Mark's United Methodist Church Family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy MacNaughton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
