Judith Arlene Roper Hall

Judith Arlene “Judy” Roper Hall, age 85 of Wartrace, TN, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026. A native of Grundy County, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Estel Roper and Anna White Henley Roper. Mrs. Hall was also preceded in death by her husband Glenn Harris Hall who died in 2020.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Lea Hall of Wartrace, TN and Glenda D. Morgan and her husband Barry of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Mary Haynes of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Dwight Roper and his wife Ruth of Bellevue, TN and Anthony Roper of Pelham, TN; granddaughter, Zoe Morgan of Shelbyville, TN; several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Randall Goodman officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at the Warren Cemetery in Pelham, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Hall was a member of the Valley Home United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
