Joyce Faye Slayden Wilson, age 82 died Monday March 1, 2021. She was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson; daughter, Pam Bauer; son in law, Jerry Potts; parents, Jesse Howard Slayden and Beulah Jack Waye; brother, Jesse and David Slayden.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Tusculum Presbyterian Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters; Vickie Potts of Hohenwald, Wendy Beggin and husband Chris of Murfreesboro; son; Jimmy Wilson and wife Kathy of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jessica Hickerson and husband Jonathan of Columbia, Joe Woodard and wife Dana of Columbia, Jamie Burns of Hohenwald, Lauren Barber and husband Neylan of Hohenwald, Courtney Johnson and husband Tommy of Whitehouse, Jake Beggin and wife Darinka of Murfreesboro, Kelley Bauer of Nevada, Jennifer Bauer of Nashville, Patrick Bauer and husband Joey of Tampa, Kyle Wilson of Tampa, Emily Allen and husband Blake of Atlanta, Son-in-law; Pat Bauer of Nevada, 26 great-grandchildren.brother, Preston Slayden and wife Linda of Georgia; sister, Patsy Slayden of Ashland City.

Visitation will be 4:00PM to 6:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 6:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Ronnie Pittenger will officiate.
