Mrs. Joyce Anna Collins, age 83, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born in Edmeston, NY to the late Harry and Myrtle Hood Brown. Mrs. Collins retired from the Department of Social Services for the State of New York before moving to Tennessee. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Smyrna and was an avid reader.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her six children, Ed Mazanek and his wife Robin of Johnson City, NY, Barb Byron of West Harwich, MA, Beth Collins of Murfreesboro, John Collins and his wife Tricia of Murfreesboro, Gail Knott of Barnesville, GA, and Rodger Collins and his wife Barb of Antioch, TN; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and faithful canine companion, Holly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Boleslaw B. Mazanek and John N. Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
