JOYCE MARIE BARNES age 76 of Smyrna died Saturday May 22, 2010. A native of Ramer, TN she was the daughter of the late Willie and Ice Dean King Derryberry. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Brother Tim Lavender officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Elders and Deacons of Smyrna Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband of 56 years Bill Barnes Jr., Sons Ken (Donna) Barnes, Dale (Linda) Barnes both of Murfreesboro, Gary (RoseAnne) Barnes of Smyrna, and her Grandchildren Christy Pittman, Lisa Barnes, Jenna Wilkerson, Amy Barnes, Kimberly Barnes, Chris Barnes, Justin Barnes, Monica Barnes, and Great Grandchildren Alecea Wilkerson, Adyen Wilkerson, Brayden Barnes, and Bailey Pittman. Mrs. Barnes is also survived by a sister Jeanette Derryberry Icenberger of MS., brothers Raymond Derryberry of MS., and Terry Derryberry of Ramer, TN. She is preceded in death by a brother Pete Derryberry. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
