Joy Pemberton, age 72 of Smyrna died Monday November 4, 2019. She was a native of Moulton AL. She was the daughter William Bowen, Sr. and Annie Mae Moore Bowen. She had attended River of Life Church in Smyrna and was retired from Walden Books.

Mrs. Pemberton is survived by her daughter, Therasia Forsythe and husband, Mark; son, Theo Cawthorne and wife Cierra; grandchildren, Aidan, Allison, Allistair, Connor, Cameron; sisters, Jackie Berryman, Linda Cawthorne, Joyce Woods; brother, J.D. Bowen.

Visitation will be 4PM to 6PM Friday with Funeral Service at 6PM Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be 10AM Saturday at O'Brien Cemetery. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements www.woodfinchapel.com
