It is with a broken heart that the family of Joy Anne Lee, a fiercely devoted mother "Momma Bear" an adored grandmother, a daughter and loyal sister, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

Joy was born on October 23, 1968 in Enterprise, AL "Roll Tide" to Debra Jones Alves (Richard Alves) and the late Lt. Col. Thomas James Lee. Her proudest accomplishment was being the mother to Troy Thomas Lee and Tanner James Lee (Kayla Burnett) and grandmother to Iyana Evelyn Lee, who she called "YaYa" and Rylan James Lee  called "Bubz".  She was the loyal and protective sister and partner in crime to Michelle Lee Suggs "Weezy".

She was raised in Antioch, TN and attended Antioch High School. Joy loved reliving her high school days calling them some of best times of her life. Joy was fiercely loyal, up for any trouble you cared to create, could cut a rug with the best of them and make you laugh until you wet your pants. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Sunday, January 16 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation is from 2:00 – 5:00 followed by a funeral service at 5:00.
