JOY COX, age 74, of Murfreesboro, died May 20, 2011. Mrs. Cox was a native of Lexington, KY, and daughter of the late Clement and Ruby Armstrong Sullivan. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Cox is survived by daughters, Rebecca Edwards, Sandy Cox, and Theresa Lewter all of Murfreesboro, Catherine Dearry of Woodbury, and Patricia Thomas of Murfreesboro; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Lewter. Mrs. Cox was a retired registered nurse at Middle Tennessee Medical Center and at the York VA Medical Center.
