Joy Lynn Arnold, age 55, of Smyrna, TN passed on Friday, November 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Arnold, her brother, Steve Crook and sister, Pamela Crook. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Kris Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Joy is survived by her parents, James "Jim" and Wilma "Bobbie" Crook of Smyrna; son, Jeremy Hammer and his wife Catherine; daughter, Crystal Denton and her husband David; step-daughter, Kim Jenkins and her husband Steve; and nine grandchildren, Steven, Drew, Madison, Dominic, Jaren, Tucker, Kolbe, Kiera, and Landon. Joy was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing her Kindle and working on cross word puzzles. Joy also loved Mickey Mouse and collecting dolls. Memorials can be made in memory of Joy to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
