JOSIE M. DAVENPORT age 80 of Murfreesboro, died Friday July 30, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Florence Carter Maxwell. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Tommy Underwood officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Glade Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Ms. Davenport is survived by her Daughters Jo Ann (Rick) Tate of Lewisburg, Catherine (Dorris) Robinson of Murfreesboro, Sarah Marie Davenport of Eagleville, and her sons Ronnie (Shelia) Davenport of Eagleville, and Thomas Eugene Davenport of College Grove. Ms. Davenport is also survived by two brothers Thomas Maxwell of Fairview and Bobby Maxwell of Bell Buckle, 28 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons Steven Jackson, Torrey Warrick, a granddaughter Regina Marie Davenport, and her Ma Catherine Kitty Sain Davenport.
