Mr. Josh Chapman, age 25, of Smyrna, TN passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016. He was born in Nashville, TN to Steve Chapman and Gina Thompson. Josh worked for Auto Zone and proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard as an electrical systems analyst. He was a kid at heart. Josh was a bright and fun person to be around. He enjoyed skateboarding and playing guitar.

Josh is survived by his mother, Gina Thompson of Smyrna; father, Steve Chapman of Tullahoma, TN; girlfriend, Cassie Smith of Smyrna; grandmother, Betty Cole and her husband Bubba of LaVergne, TN; grandfather, Ronnie Neal of Smyrna; brothers, Tyler Chapman of Memphis, TN and Heath Phillips and his fiancée Emily Sellars of Smyrna; and uncle, Terry Neal and his wife Nancy of Franklin, TN.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Pastor Francis D. Hennessy, III will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Friends will serve as pall bearers.
