Josephine Sage, age 83 of Murfreesboro died Sunday November 6, 2016. She was a native of Rutherford County and had lived in California for many years before returning to Murfreesboro. Mrs. Sage is preceded in death by her husband, Miles "Ed"  Edward Sage. Sr. parents, William and Bessie Dycus Climer; daughter, Tamra "Tami" Jo Janke, and Miles "Ed" Edward Sage, Jr. She was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ, and was retired Director of Admissions at Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California.

Mrs. Sage is survived by daughter, Marcelle "Marci" Tice and husband Ray of Murfreesboro; son-in-law; Gil Janke of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jeremy Edward Tice and Brandon Leon Tice both of  Chattanooga, Austin Sage Janke of Murfreesboro and Hayley McKenna Janke of Chattanooga; brother, Frank Climer of New Jersey; sister, Ruby Climer of Kentucky.

Visitation and refreshments will be from 11:00AM until 1:30PM Saturday at North Boulevard Church of Christ. Celebration of life service will be at 1:30 Saturday at North Boulevard Church of Christ with Brother, David Young, and Brother John Magunson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
