JOSEPHINE GOINS BREWER age 79 of Smyrna, TN, died Saturday August 29, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late George and Sally Warrick Goins. She is survived by husband, Walter Lee Brewer, Sr., sons, Floyd, Ezra, Kenneth, Charles Jerry, and Walter Brewer, Jr. all of Smyrna, and Thomas Brewer of Shelbyville. Daughters, Laura Faye Brewer, Lorene Brewer, and Tina Brewer all of Smyrna, Carol Lester of Murfreesboro, and Hilda Stoneman of Lavergne, brother, Robert Goins of Murfreesboro, 37 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by a daughter Juanita Brewer Ellis and a granddaughter, Leanna Brewer. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Pastor John Herdman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
