Josephine "Jo" Henry Adkison, age 90, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 10, 2018. A native of Guys, TN she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lora McCarter Henry; and her loving husband, Clyde Wilson Adkison Sr.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Alan Yeager will officiate. A Graveside Service will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her son, Clyde Adkison Jr. and his wife Janie of Murfreesboro; sister, Peggy Cunningham of Murfreesboro; brother, Wayne Henry and his wife Margaret of Guys, TN; nephews, Robert Henry of Cornith, MS and Robert Wayne Henry Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Guys, TN; nieces, Kay Newton of Piggott, AR and Hope Billingsly and her husband Greg of Rockland, ME; and sister-in-law, Lillie Adkison of Santa Fe, TN.

Mrs. Adkison attended Cason Lane Church of Christ. She was a retired property manager with CBS Realty Company.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Men and women of the Murfreesboro Police Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Adkison can be made to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Tueday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
