Joseph Elmer Wolf Jr. 80, passed away suddenly on October 26th, 2022.
Reverend Ted Kocher our mentor, former pastor and friend will be officiating the Celebration of life on Friday November 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel, 203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN. Military Honors will follow at Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
Joe wolf was born April 12th, 1942, in Little Rock, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Elmer Wolf Sr., Lorene Wages (Strawn) and a brother Michael Wolf.
Surviving are his three children, Timothy Joseph Wolf of LaVergne, TN, Elizabeth Wolf of San Diego, CA and Christina Wolf Huwe of Auburn, WA., eight Grandchildren, five Great-Grandchildren, three sisters, Judy Rich of Antioch, TN, Tanya Jordan of Benton, AR and Tina Lovell of Benton, AR., and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
He graduated in 1960 from Central High School in Little Rock, AR. Joe proudly served in the Army, and was stationed in Germany. He loved his years of service and loved everything Army. Joe proudly served as Commander of the VFW Post 1291 for 3 years and was a member of the American Legion. He worked at Rich Heating and Air and was their top salesman. He also worked as a salesman for Wolf Home Improvement till he retired.
Joe enjoyed some good football (especially the Razorbacks and Titans). He loved Elvis and never missed the opportunity to delight everyone with some good Elvis songs, accompanied by his Uncle Danny at family events.
His constant companion till the end was his dog, Buster. He loved his Buster and Buster loved him! We will miss Joe very much. Our family gatherings and holidays will not be the same without Joe saying the blessing before our meals.
We will see you again!
