Joseph Pardy, age 92, of Murfreesboro passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was a native of Detroit, MI and the son of the late Anthony and Frances Borg Pardy. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Pitre and Mary Lannen.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Pauline Sciberras Pardy, children, Judithe Maune and her husband Daniel of Murfreesboro, Nancy Pardy and her husband Michael Barton of Murfreesboro, Mary Jo Pardy of Antioch, IL, Joseph Pardy, Jr. of Lebanon, OH, Therese Leffler of Springboro, OH, John Pardy and his wife Cindy of Buchanan, MI, Jim Pardy and his wife Jan of Warwick, RI, Connie Armantrout and her husband Scott of Franklin, OH, Chris Pardy and his wife Julie of Warwick, RI, brother, Sam Pardy of Detroit, MI, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Pardy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. He also served as an usher for many years. Mr. Pardy served his country as a ball turret gunner with the Army Air Corps over Europe during WW II. He worked 33 years as an electrical engineer with Square D Company.

Rosary will be 9:00am Wednesday, October 4, 2017 followed by visitation with the family from 9:30am until 10:30am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
