Joseph William "Joey" Onkst, age 20, of Murfreesboro passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel R. Onkst, Sr. He is survived by his parents, Daniel R. and Juanita Janie Cano Onkst, Jr., brother, Daniel R. Onkst, III, sister, Eva Onkst, grandparents, Christine Onkst, Fortino Cano, and Evangelina Cano, aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends. Joey was a graduate of Blackman High School and a musician.
