JOSEPH JODY ODELL WARRICK age 61 of Smyrna, TN died Tuesday November 17, 2009 at his home. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late Joe and Ola Mai Gann Warrick. Jody is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Sue Gowing Warrick; son, Tapper (Jennifer) Pennington of Smyrna; daughters, Jenefer Warrick (Kelly Aymett) and Jessica (Lance) Churchwell of Smyrna, and Melissa (Troy) Young of Murfreesboro, Sisters, Nellie Roberts of Lavergne, Earline Potts, Brenda Potts and Ruby Bly of Smyrna, Jewell Warrick of Lebanon, and Teresa Colvett of Murfreesboro; brothers, Frank Warrick of Clarksville, and James Warrick of Smyrna; grandchildren,Scott, Austin, and Dillon Raney, Kelsey and Kaitlyn Young, Aubrey Churchwell, Destany and Haley Pennington, and Austin Sellars, great grandson, Hunter Lane Raney. Jody was preceded in death by brothers, John Daniel and Dennis Earl Warrick and sister Thelma Pennington. . Funeral services will be 2:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor C. Ed Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Jody was a self-employed fiberglass repairman. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
