JOSEPH ADAM OBRIEN, age 35 of Murfreesboro, died Friday, September 24, 2010. Funeral service is to be held at 10:30am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Spence Creasy and Michael Wrather will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Hamilton OBrien, two daughters, Caroline Prater OBrien and Ava James OBrien both of Lebanon, one stepson, Kenneth Wolfe of Murfreesboro, father and stepmother, Danny and Lois OBrien of Lascassas, mother and stepfather, Kathy Prater and Mark Saltalamachia of Christiana, grandmother, Gloria OBrien of Murfreesboro, stepsisters, Kate (Flecther) Holland of Knoxville, Sarah (Bricke) Murfree of Murfreesboro, and Rachel (Jamin) Guy of Nashville, uncles, Larry OBrien of Murfreesboro, Tommy (Leslie) OBrien of Colorado, and nephew, Randall Prater OBrien of Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jared OBrien, grandparents, John T. OBrien, Virgil and Margaret Harrell Prater, and uncle, Randall Prater. Adam attended The Carpenters House and World Outreach Church. He was a 1994 graduate of Oakland High School and attended MTSU. He was a master electrician and owner of OBrien Electric. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to a trust fund at MidSouth Bank in memory of Mr. OBrien for his daughters, Caroline and Ava OBrien.
