Joseph Dalton McCrary , age 65 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday November 4, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Joseph Benjamin "Joe" and Alberta Sandell Dalton McCrary.

Mr. McCrary is survived by his wife, Kelly Whitworth McCrary; son, Benjamin Dalton McCrary both of Murfreesboro, TN, and extended family.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday November 8, 2016 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Wayne Lankford and Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Tennessee Valley Winds. Visitation will be Monday November 7, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. McCrary was a member of East Main Church of Christ and a retired engineer with the Army Corp of Engineers.
