Joseph Franklin Locke, age 75, of Smyrna passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019. He was a native of Athens, AL and the son of the late Wesley David Locke and Mary Irene Kennemer Locke.

Funeral service will be 6:00pm Friday, August 2, 2019 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Tony Dye will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Anderson Locke, daughter, Tonya Locke Singleton (Tracy), grandchildren, Austin Singleton and Chelsie Singleton, great granddaughter, Remi Jean, siblings, Malcolm Locke (Rebecca), Bobby Locke (Sandra), Mary Helen Faulk (David), numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Mr. Locke was a member of Mission Church of Christ where he served as Deacon and Treasurer. He also served in the US Army Reserves and was retired from Bridgestone as a Setup Technician.
