JOSEPH ALOISIUS FORD, age 85, of Smyrna, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He was a native of Albany, NY and the son of the late Patrick and Ellen Ford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Ford. Funeral Mass will be 2:00pm Friday at St. Lukes Catholic Church. Father Jim Bretl will officiate. He is survived by his son, Thomas Ford of Murfreesboro, daughter, Kathleen Ford of Greensboro, NC, brother, William F. Ford of San Diego, CA, sister, Annie Whitlock of Coral Springs, FL, grandchildren, Patrick Ford, Russell Ford, Keenan Ford, and great grandchild, Madison Elizabeth Ford. Mr. Ford was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church and a US Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 8422 in Smyrna.
