Joseph Donald Gubby Callis, age 74 of Nashville died Sunday. He was a born in Nashville and was the son of the late, John Floyd Callis Sr. and Ruth Durham Callis. Mr. Callis was a Electrician. He is survived by his wife, Francina Callis; children, Kevin Callis and wife Pam of Lebanon, Kenneth Callis and wife Debbie of Smyrna, Joanna Callis of Nashville; grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Misty, Holly, Jared, Tyler, Kaeli, Aaron, Brittany, and Tiara; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Hill of Nashville, Jannie Paulson of Minnesota, and brother, Ronnie Callis of Nashville. Funeral services will be 12Noon on Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Francis May officiating. Graveside service will be 2PM Thursday at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
