Joseph Donald Arthur Clement, Jr. entered the peace of heaven on November 15, 2020, with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Billie Clement, and sister Donna King.

Joey was born on February 12, 1960, at Sewart Air Force Base in Smyrna, TN where he was raised. After graduating from Smyrna High School, Joey attended Tennessee Temple University where he met his future wife, Serene. They were married in 1982 before he joined the Army in 1984. Joey was in the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, and he achieved the rank of Captain. While stationed in Fort Richardson, Alaska, Joey was medically discharged after serving several years in the military.

Retiring to Tennessee, Joey focused his life on raising his children and being with his wife. He loved and served his church, never knew a stranger, and was a great friend to many. His love for the outdoors encouraged his heart and strengthened his soul. Joey lived by the principles of 2 Corinthians 4:17 and was a great example of how to be content with what God had given him.

Joey leaves behind his wife, Serene, of thirty-eight years; a daughter, Rachel and husband Nate Reed; a son, Joe and wife Jill Clement; a daughter, Hannah and husband Tahan Burnham; and grandchildren, Evelyn and Sawyer Reed, Savannah and Abigail Clement, and Rowan Burnham. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and family who were dear to him.

Visitation will be 10:00AM until 12Noon Saturday at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 12Noon Saturday at Franklin Road Baptist Church with burial to follow in Windrow Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
