Obituary

John " Tommy" Davis, age 82 of Murfreesboro died Saturday June 9, 2018. He was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late, Cecil and Lorene Boyd Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ and former owner of Jr.'s Foodland on Main St. in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his wife of 61years, Bobbie Jean Davis; daughter, Bev Davis of Old Hickory; brothers, William Carl Davis and wife Mary of Murfreesboro, Phillip Wayne Davis of Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be 3PM to 7PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Brown, Roy Nance and Brian Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. www.woodfinchapel.com
