John E. Swart, age 72 of Bon Aqua, TN  died Saturday March 11, 2017. He was the son of the late, John and Frances Swart, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Swart and sister, Mary Beth Medo. Mr. Swart was retired from the United States Navy having over 28 years of service.

He is survived by his wife. Darlene Carlton Swart; brother, Ronnie David Swart and wife Carol of Hillard Ohio; sister-in-law, Dorothy Swart of Texas

Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or the Humane Society in memory of Mr. Swart.

Funeral service will be 12:00Noon Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tom Jansto will officiate. Graveside service with Military Honors will be 2:00PM Thursday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram. Visitation will be after 10:00AM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
