JOHN HARRIS RUTLEDGE, III age 68 of Lavergne, TN, died Saturday August 7, 2010. A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John Harris Rutledge, II and Lillian Clark Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge is survived by his wife, Evie Rutledge; son and daughter in-law, John and Amy Rutledge of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter and son in-law, Lori and Mark Free of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Olivia, Peyton, and Karli. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lavergne First United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Royston officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Rutledge was a member of Lavergne First United Methodist Church and was a retired land appraiser with the State of Tennessee. He was also a US Air Force veteran. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Lavergne First United Methodist Church, 248 Waldron Road, Lavergne, TN.
