JOHN B. RICE age 73 of Lascassas, died Friday April 17, 2009. A native of White County Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charlie Mack and Hennie Scarbrough Rice. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with James Lively officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Ruby Davis Rice, daughters Debbie (Timothy) Waldron of Beechgrove, Kim Grimes of Lascassas, Sandra of Smithville, sons Tony Mosley of Lascassas, John Rice of Liberty, Sisters Rita Judd of Cookeville, Joyce Harding of Lewisburg, Liz Brewer of Smyrna, 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Sister Nella Cox, Brothers Charles Rice, Horace Rice, and James Rice. He was a retired roofer and a member of Sharpsville Church of Christ.
