John Mark Rice's Obituary
John Mark Rice, age 50 of Murfreesboro formerly of LaVergne died Wednesday July 11, 2018. He was born in Rawlins,Wyoming and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward Rice and Hattie Elizabeth Poteete Rice. Mr. Rice was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and had worked for Bridgestone and Nissan. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Rice is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina Rice; daughters; Meghan Wallace and husband Matthew of Murfreesboro, Haley Rice of Murfreesboro; grandson, Kaiser Wallace; brothers, Steven Rice and wife Pam of Smyrna, Tim Rice of Murfreesboro; uncle, F.A. "Pooch" Poteete and wife Linda of Dickson, County; and aunt, Ethel Simmons and husband Jerald of Smyrna.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Mr. Rice's life will be 4PM to 6PM Sunday. Followed by Military Honors at 6PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. www.woodfinchapel.com
