John Michael Magree, age 45, of Murfreesboro, TN and native of Lincoln, NE, went to be with our Heavenly Father on the morning of Saturday, February 9, 2019. He passed away at home peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Anjeanette "AJ" Tramonte Magree; daughters, Averi Rose Magree and Adalyn Mary Magree; his mother, Elizabeth Doan Rosburg (Al); sisters, Kelli Paetz (Rob) and niece, Jamey Kohlman and nephew, Justin Kohlman; Karin Hindmarsh (Kevin) and nephew, McKale Turner; and Angie Raney (Shaun) and niece, Emma Raney; mother-in-law, Karen Matherne Tramonte; sister-in-law, Lena Tramonte Kallio (Eric); brother-in-law, Michael Tramonte, Jr. (Heather) and nephew, Dominic Tramonte; and sister-in-law, Kara Tramonte Anderson (Brandon). John was preceded in death by his father, John Jeffery Magree and father-in-law, Michael Tramonte, Sr.

John was a skilled craftsman in which he learned from his father. As a child, he was an award-winning BMX bike racer earning a spot in the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame. He was a member of New Vision Baptist Church Buchanan. His girls and family were the most important thing in life to him. He was a great man, devoted husband and father, avid Husker fan and a loyal friend to so many.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 3:30 at the New Vision Baptist Church Buchanan Campus at 5977 Elam Rd. Murfreesboro, TN 37127. Brad Ewing will officiate the service. Condolences can be given starting at 2:00 p.m.
