John L. Laschinski age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday October 1, 2011. A native of Medford, WI, he was the son of the late Robert John and Augusta Gusat Laschinski. Mr. Laschinski is survived by his wife of 67 years, Estalena Blalock; son Robert Laschinski and his wife Patti of Poulsbo, WA; daughter, Nancy Shawver and her husband Jim of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Adeline Zeiger of West Bend, WI, Ruth Shucha of Woodruff, WI, Leah Teufert of Manchester, GA, Erna Baker of Clovis, CA, Rose Riemer of Chicago, IL, Marie Kimmel of Chicago, IL; brothers, Fred Riemer of Vancouver, WA, Don Riemer Pewaukee, WI, and William Riemer of Libertyville, IL; grandchildren, Zeke and Dusahn Laschinski, Matthew and Mark Demaray, Matthew and J. B. Shawver; great granddaughter, Hadley Demaray. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Stones River Manor, 205 Haynes Drive, with Brother Forrest Chapman officiating. A reception will follow the service at Stones River Manor. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Laschinski was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and was a retired Plant Supervisor with Gulf South Bottling. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran and was also a licensed airplane mechanic.
