John Martin "Kevin" Carolan, age 85, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. A native of New York, NY, he was the son of the late John and Delia Carolan. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Peter Carolan, and his sister, Margaret Major.

Mr. Carolan is survived by his loving wife, Donna Sather Carolan; son, Sean Carolan, and his wife, Magdalena, of Kenosha, WI; daughter, Sarah Carolan, and her husband, Trevor de Clercq, of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Anne Kelty of Bronxville, NY and Mary Cull and husband, Frank, of Pearl River, NY; and four grandchildren, Jack, Hazel, Liv, and Eliza; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

His professional life was devoted to educating young people at Marist College, where he served more than 40 years as professor of Mathematics and Computer Science. He will always be remembered as a gentle, loving, loyal, and kind son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
