John Moody "Jay" Womack, Jr., age 65 of McMinnville, formerly of Murfreesboro died Saturday April 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn Brown Womack, John M. Womack, Sr., and a sister Molly French.

Jay was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and loved trains, working on his house and garden, woodworking, playing the piano, puzzles, word play and humor!

He is survived by his sister, Terry Womack (Jan Jennings) his nephew, Dave Teague (Misti Teague) his niece Mary Coulter (Thomas Coulter) and special friend Mindy Whittington.
