John A. "Jack" Shipley, age 71 of Murfreesboro. He was born in Merced CA and was preceded in death by his parents, John E. Shipley and Donna Ragsdale Shipley. Mr. Shipley was a self-employed welder.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cynthia Shipley; daughter, Sally Shipley Williams and husband John ; granddaughters; Megan E. Williams, Jessica Roden and husband Nick, Natalie Wilson and husband Derek; grandson, David Williams and wife Jayce; Great-grandchildren, Valerie Wilson, Theodore Williams, Brother, Mark Shipley and wife Maria, Sister; Anne Bright, and Shannon Shipley
