John Lee Jack Fitzpatrick, age 73 of Murfreesboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday July, 19, 2012. A native of Davidson County, he was the son of the late John Alvin and Dorothy Knight Fitzpatrick. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Fitzpatrick and a sister, Vickie Fitzpatrick. Jack is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cathy Fitzpatrick; sons, Mitch Fitzpatrick and his wife Jenni of Murfreesboro, TN and Mike Fitzpatrick and his wife Penny of Davenport, IA; sister, Gail Moses of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Zach, Samantha, and Sydney Fitzpatrick; sister in law, Ann Fitzpatrick of Fernandina Beach, FL Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Allen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with the Eight-Thirty AM ushers of World Outreach Church serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be close friends. Jack was a member of World Outreach Church, a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired Banker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to World Outreach Church Built for God or the Salvation Army, in memory of Jack.
