JOHN T. ELLINGTON age 76 of Murfreesboro, TN died Saturday November 20, 2010. A native of Thomaston, GA, he was the son of the late John Bennie and Louise Virginia Driscoll Ellington. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Sanders Ellington who died in 2004. Mr. Ellington is survived by his sons, Mike Ellington of Atlanta, GA and Ricky Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Hope Robinson and Rhonda Taylor both of Murfreesboro, TN and Teresa Taylor of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Courtney and Monique Little, Beth Bailey, Chris and Ben Stacey, Candice Taylor, and Aidan Ellington; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Brother Billy Cole officiating. Mr. Ellington was a member of the Church of Christ, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and was retired from the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
