Mr. John H. Conner, age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was born in Jefferson County, AL to the late David and Vivian Youngblood Conner. Mr. Conner proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 3 years, 11 months, and 28 days. He then worked in insurance claims until his retirement. Mr. Conner loved his family more than anything. He spent his time reading, mowing his lawn, and watching Alabama football.

Mr. Conner is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vivien Wynn Conner; three daughters, Donna Layne Black of Murfreesboro, Jennie Lynn O'Bryan and her husband Jeffrey of Smyrna, TN, and Stacy Elizabeth Armstrong and her husband Terry of Smyrna; four grandchildren, Matthew Clark, Patrick Black, Sarah Clark, and Savannah Black; three great-grandchildren, Micah Black, Levi Black, and Elias Black; faithful canine companion, Buddy; and several nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 4, 2019 from 11:30am until 1:30pm at The Experience Community Church. Funeral services will be Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1:30pm at The Experience Community Church. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
