JOHN COMER age 85, died Friday June 25, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Cassie Reynolds Comer. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Kevin Dye, David Miller, and John Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Comer is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hunter Comer; sister, Kate Hewgley of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Prince Albert. Mr. Comer was preceded in death by brothers, Ed and Clyde Comer, and sisters, Beulah Jenkins, and Nora McCormick. Mr. Comer was a member of the Leanna Church of Christ and was a retired Plumber and Electrician. Nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack, Paul, and Steve Edwards, and the Elders and Deacons of Leanna Church of Christ.
