John N. Collins, age 77, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. A native of New York, NY he was the son of the late Orvis and Grace Collins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Smyrna Nazarene Church. Pastor Tony Clemens will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Joyce Anna Collins; daughters, Beth Collins of TN, Gail Knott of GA, Barbara Byron of MA; sons, John Collins of TN, Rodger Collins of TN, Carl Jenkins of TN, and Chuck Jenkins of NY; brothers, James of MA and Gil of NY; sisters, Pat of DE, and Joyce of NY; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Collins was a member of the Smyrna Nazarene Church. He was a former Sexton with the Catholic Church in Fulton, New York. Mr. Collins took great pride in his grandchildren and cherished them very much. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
