John "J.G." Bryant, age 63, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Bryant worked in the Body Shop for over 13 years at Nissan in Smyrna. He enjoyed fishing, playing practical jokes, and spending quality time with his family. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, George Neal Bryant Sr. and Christine Saylor Bryant Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Connie Hittson Bryant; daughters, Gina Jones and her husband Stephen of Murfreesboro, Kathy Arwood and her husband Nathan of Maryville, Kristen York and her husband Kyle of Murfreesboro and Cortney Bryant of Murfreesboro; son, Kasey Bryant of Smyrna; grandchildren, Lorelei Perry and Kayley York; brother, George Bryant Jr. of Winchester, TN; and sister, Marie Colwell of Rogers, AR. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
