John Douglas Allen, 40, of Murfreesboro, went Home on May 17th, 2012, at Pensacola, Florida's Sacred Heart Hospital. John was born February 29th, 1972 in Cookeville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the Celebration of his Life at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN with Bro. Gerald Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the Celebration of Life service at 12 noon Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro with Bro. Dave Shelley officiating. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Maria Aguirre Allen and their three sons Nick, Tony and Josh of Murfreesboro, parents, Gary and Janie Smith Allen of Alpine, TN, brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Buffy Allen of Knoxville, Luke and Melissa Allen of Cookeville, Matt and Sarah Allen of Cookeville; and many many dear friends. John lived life to it's fullest and was most proud of his wife Maria and their three sons Nick, Tony and Josh.
