JOHN FRANK ACCOMANDO, age 78, of Smyrna, Tennessee died Thursday, December 4, 2008. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the son of the late Jerome & Jennie DeFurie Accomando. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Parker Accomando; son, Philip (Kelley) Accomando of Smyrna; half brother, Phillip Accomando of Tennessee; step grandchildren, Kristen Stanley and Shawn Quinby; step great grandchildren, Jordan & Jaxon Stanley, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 10:30 Tuesday, Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Carl Scarlett officiating. Visitation with the family 4-7 pm Monday. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with full military rites. Mr. Accomando was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam.
