Johanna Colette Thompson age 48 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Monday, August 8, 2011. She was a native of Indianapolis, IN. Miss Thompson is survived by her parents; James and Isetta Smith Thompson of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Camilla Harrison of Manchester, TN and Juliene Wallace of Fairhope, AL; brother, James J. T. Thompson of Roanoke, VA and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bert Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Miss Thompson was a member of Murfreesboro Christian Church and was an Administrative Assistant with the IRS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Murfreesboro Christian Church in memory of Miss Thompson. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 893-5151.
