JOE M. WELLS age 76 of Murfreesboro, TN died Friday January 29, 2010. A native of Lincoln County, TN, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Cornelia Parker Wells. Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Alice Smith Wells; sons and daughters in law, Frank and Trudy Wells of Murfreesboro, TN and Tom and Cassie Wells of Carmel, IN; brother, Charles Wells of Smithville, TX; grandchildren, Emily Madison, Graham Wells, Joshua and Adam Shanks, and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Thomas, and Holden Shanks, and Luke Madison. Memorial services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Chris Madison officiating. Mr. Wells was retired from the United States Air Force having served during Korea and Vietnam. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association in memory of Mr. Wells.
