JOE L. JACKS, age 85, of Murfreesboro, died January 10, 2011 at Lakeshore, The Meadows in Nashville. He was a native of Elora, TN, and son of the late Raymon E. and Zell Hardin Jacks. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Lankford officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Jacks is survived by his wife, Lorena F. Jacks; daughter, Ginny U. Staggs of Nashville; son, Stephen (Pam) Jacks of Murfreesboro; son in law, Brad Staggs of Nashville; grandchildren, Sam Hardin Staggs, Craig Jacks, Amy Jacks Johnson, and Tiffany Jacks; and a brother, Ray Jacks of Elora, TN. Mr. Jacks was a member of East Main St. Church of Christ and was retired transportation director for Cummings Signs Co.
