Joe Tom Haley, age 68 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Wednesday July 11, 2012. A native of Bowling Green, KY, he was the son of the late Cleve and Hattie Price Haley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ernest Haley and a sister, Meallie Haley Johnson. Mr. Haley is survived by his wife, Veronica E. Henderson Haley; sons, Michael Ray Haley of Murfreesboro, TN and Vance Kirby of Dickson, TN; brother, William C. Haley and sister, Ruby Cole both of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Mitchell D. Kirby and Kathryn Glynn Kirby both of Dickson, TN; nephews, Dwight Haley of Bowling Green, KY, and Robbie Gravel of Louisville, KY; nieces, Debbie Rector and Teresa Haley both of Bowling Green, KY and several other nieces and nephews; special cousin and best friend, Jerry Haley of Bowling Green, KY. Mr. Haley was a member of New Vision Baptist Church, and a retired Electrical Salesman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Centennial Medical Center, 230 25th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37203 in memory of Mr. Haley. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brady Cooper officiating.
