JoAnn Dickson FAIRBANKS age 80 of Murfreesboro, TN died Monday Oct. 26, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Humes Dickson. Mrs. Fairbanks is survived by husband, Raymond C. Fairbanks, Sr., daughters and sons-law, Patti and Don Miller of Dickson, TN, Carol and Paul Darnell of Murfreesboro, TN, three grandchildren, Laura Mobley, Brad Darnell, and Don Miller, Jr. and four great-grandchildren, Anna and Katie Mobley, Isabelle and Saphira Darnell. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond C. Fairbanks, Jr. who died in 2002. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Graveside and burial service will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram with Father Joseph Breen officiating. Mrs. Fairbanks was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild, a US Air Force veteran, and a retired RN from Middle Tennessee Medical Center after 25 years of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church Building Fund or Caris Hospice in memory of Mrs. Fairbanks. Pallbearers will be Paul and Brad Darnell, Don Miller, Jr., Don Miller, Sr., Andy Mobley, and Glenn Street. Friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
