Joan Loretta Sliger, age 67, of Smyrna, passed away September 11, 2014. She was a native of Fall River, MA, and daughter of the late Louis and Alice Proulx Szurleys. A memorial service will be held Thursday September 18,2014 at 6:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time Thursday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Mrs. Sliger is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sliger; children, Kenneth (Leslie) Sliger of Nashville, and Sandra Sliger (David) Ward of Smyrna; sister, Sandra Szurleys of Fall River, MA; and brother, Louis (Diane) Szurleys of Ketchikan, Alaska.
